Mountain V is currently drilling the last of its planned 2010 vertical Marcellus wells in West Virginia. With only one well left to complete, this will finalize the 2010 drilling programs comprised of 16 vertical Marcellus wells. Mountain V is also developing and drilling in Overton County, Tennessee. This is a new area of interest for Mountain V and the Company is working towards a better understanding of the geology in that area to refine, and strategically drill and operate the 3,000+ acres leased in Overton County.
For the calendar year 2011, Mountain V plans to drill at least 16 Marcellus wells made up of 10 vertical and six horizontal wells in Upshur County, West Virginia, along with continuing our drilling efforts for oil wells in Tennessee. With approximately 23,000+ acres of leased potential drilling acreage available, Mountain V intends to continue drilling throughout 2011 and 2012 and beyond.
