Current Operations: With the changing industry concentrating on the production and the development of the Marcellus Shale, Mountain V is currently exploring and developing its acreage in Upshur County, West Virginia recovering the vast reserve in the Marcellus Shale.

Marcellus Drilling: Since 2007 Mountain V has drilled 19 vertical Marcellus Wells concentrated in our core leased area in the central to south-central part of Upshur County, West Virginia. Additionally, the company has reworked two Oriskany/Chert wells and fractured the Marcellus formations in those wells, giving Mountain V a total of 21 Marcellus wells drilled in Upshur County to date.
